We provide both equity and debt to lower middle market healthcare practices and platforms for growth, acquisitions, recapitalization, or management buyouts. This can take the form of equity (preferred or common) or debt (convertible, mezzanine, 2nd lien, or unitranche), depending on the needs of the business. Our goal is to truly partner with healthcare providers and founding executives, providing not just capital but also strategic advice and operational tools that take companies to the next level.
HCHP has been successful in developing and executing tailored value creation plans, in partnership with healthcare providers, that typically emphasize an appropriate investment in infrastructure followed by an aggressive organic and acquisition growth strategy.
In some cases, Haworth Capital, along with its co-sponsors, will control the firm’s Board, but in other cases, majority control will stay with the founding executives. We target lower middle market healthcare service companies with growth potential and generally less than $10 million of EBITDA. Sectors of interest include healthcare services, physician practice management organizations, healthcare financial services, and direct-to-consumer healthcare businesses.
